Poet Street Market is not a
franchise, cookie-cutter or fast food operation (although folks do come from
far and wide to enjoy our cookies!). This old-fashioned bakery, deli and
market is the real thing. In the same location for nearly 15 years,
Poet's has earned a reputation for offering the finest desserts, breads, soups
and sandwiches in Billings, Montana.
Just how good is the food at Poet
Street Market? You must decide that for yourself. But here is a
quick sampling at what you can expect. (For an actual sample of the

We offer a great
variety of desserts, old world breads, fresh salads, incredible sandwiches,
delicious breakfast items and special occasion cakes. We use only the
finest chocolates, cheeses, meats, and fresh produce. We make our
gourmet pizzas, salads, and wonderful soups from scratch in our own kitchen.
Breads are made fresh every day the
old fashioned way. Nothing comes in frozen. Poet's home-style breakfast rolls, scones and muffins are addicting, made from scratch and
filled with good things. Our salads include the finest pastas, fresh
vegetables, dressings (made fresh by us!), and other ingredients. Desserts include terrific apple and pear tarts,
fresh fruit tarts, tiramisus, gateaux, tortes, Italian Cream cakes, and a
wonderful variety of creamy cheesecakes with special toppings.
You will also enjoy fine Italian
espressos, cappuccinos, mochas and more from our espresso bar. And then
there are the huge cookies we make (from scratch) and bake fresh daily.
And the thick brownies, jumbles, espresso bars, lemon bars, and 7-layer bars —
goodies that you simply have to try in order to understand why we can hardly
keep them on the shelf.
